The great bear had been forced from his home. First by the environment itself, then by the cursed hunters. He had only attempted to survive by taking food nobody wanted, and he was treated with attempts of murder, this was a great source of annoyance to him. Of course, the hunters had nearly killed him at one point, so he went out of his way to avoid them. Of course, this meant he was slowly but steadily driven southward, down from the tundra he was used to and into the pine forests. It had been half a year since he was forced from his home, and the journey south had taken up the majority of that time. He now sought to find a place that was safer for him, where he could avoid the ever present humans, and take a peaceful nap. He had been staying in one particular forest for a while. It had a large population of deer and other animals for him to snack on, although he needed a lot to survive on. It had quite a few small streams. and the trees were spaced far enough away to allow him moving room. He liked it here, except if the temperature wasn't extremely hot. Well, hot for him anyways. 50°F was bordering on way too hot for him, as he preferred temperatures about 35 to 40°F. With temperature in mind, the great bear had been sleeping during the day and night, while moving around at sunrise and sunset. However, a recent scent had changed his schedule. It was of a supernatural. He had decided to follow it, with the intent of chasing it off, when he started discovering more scents. All sorts of supernatural had passed through here, it was almost too much input for him. The trails were fresh too, meaning that they had come here often. That was when the great bear noticed the building. Of course, he just had to choose a forest with a hotel full of supernaturals. He'd have to chase them off somehow. He thought for a moment, and came up with a plan. He'd block the entrance, and kill anyone who'd try to enter or leave. With that in mind, the gargantuan beast walked up to the entrance, and plopped down. A might thud shook the ground as he did, and a minor tremor was sent through the building. With his rear completely covering the entrance, and his face directed outwards. Any attempts to get out would see a wall of white, furry, bear rump, and any trying to get in would see the massive head and body of the ursa.
