Peter listened to her talk, taking her hand and holding on as he kept staring at the wall. He was thinking about what he should do... Would he be willing to give away his identity to save his best friend's life? He would do it for Lexi... for Aunt May... He would do it for Harry... but as Spider-Man told him of his responsibilities, Peter was screaming that it was extremely dangerous... When Lexi started to cry Peter got up, putting his hands on her cheeks gently. "Hey hey hey, look at me..." He said softly. "You don't need to worry about me... I won't let them experiment on me or take and hurt you... I promise you that... You have the Peter Parker guarantee..." He said with a weak smile, always trying to use humor.

"I will have to talk to him... see what he plans on doing, and his opinion on it..." He agreed with her... He would have wanted to meet his idol on better terms... but Harry's life was at stake... If he could help work on it... "I'm not going to give Harry the blood unless i know he won't be harmed... and my identity is safe..." He gently wiped away the tears falling off her face with his thumb. She was even beautiful when she cried... He removed his hands and then wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug.
