"Ah!" Kido feels something hit him and falls into another bush. He pulls himself into the foliage all the way before examining his side; someone had already shot him once, the paint exploding into an almost star-shaped splotch on his outfit. "Oops. I guess I should be more careful." Perhaps he should have gotten a shield like Nat had, but he supposed that it wouldn't really matter. Somebody had to hit somebody, after all.
