This spread seems to place a lot of focus on obstacles to progress, though those obstacles were placed there by yourself. The King of Wands and King of Pentacles both represent ambition – the drive to start something or to take on a position of authority. They are separated, however, by The Hanged Man, which represents coming to terms with an unfortunate event.
