Jakob laughed at Felix's answer, taking another sip of his aquavit while listening to what he said about her father. He thought back to his own father, or rather his entire family home in Norway, living under occupation just like the English were doing now. He had sent letters home, writing about the war in general as he wasn't allowed to describe the details of the 505th missions, and asking how things were back home. He did receive replies, but it was only his sisters that wrote in the letter, never his father nor his mother. He didn't blame them, and sometimes he wished that he had never joined the Wehrmacht, for now in his parent's eyes, even as their son, he was no better than the German occupation force back home. While Jakob's eyes stared empty into space, Rudolf was still very alive and in the conversation. "I agree, the Allies are stubborn enough to keep every square of land they can keep, hoping for that turning-point in the war to finally strike back. Heh, good thing that day'll never come, bad thing we'll be sent in to clear up the mess." Rudolf chugged down the rest of his beer and ordered another one. And then The Question came, not just a question, but The Question he knew would come sooner or later. Yes it was something between him and Victoria, quite a few things had happened in his personal quarters that any teenage boy would die to witness, and he wasn't about to let the cat out of the bag yet. "Pffh, and I guess you've also heard that Der Führer is having a thing going on with his secretary, Eva Braun? Meine gute Herr Felix, I thought SS men such as you would consolidated with the Gestapo before throwing allegations around...Not that I would mind, she does have quite a delicate bottom." Rudolf said, bursting out into laughter after a moment of serious silence, and drinking down the next beer he got. He had missed these moments, just being with his brothers in arms, Raven Squad, the best in the 505th. "Speaking of rumours, as I walked past the office of Von Braun, I heard him speaking with some officer about something called an atom bomb. Can you believe it, the Allies want to bomb us using atom-sized bombs? They're mad I tell you!"
