Lever actions were really only a civilian weapon (except some minor use during the late 1800s) most armies during the 20s had bolt action or maybe semi auto carbines infact quite alot of countires used bolt actions well into world war II (British and russian being the most previlant in these having the enfields and mosin nagant). assault rifles didnt really get used alot (they did exist the earliest example of them which i can find the is federov avtomat circa 1915 but 3,200 where made and barely any saw use during WWI and where mainly used during the russian civil war and the resulting war against finland) until after world war 2 (the germans where the first to really promote their widespread use with the stg 44) even then it took the americans until 62 that americans started using assault rifles.
Indeed indeed. I guess the all around point we're making is Demo needs to read his own rules. XD Though thorgill, you have to note we aren't paralleling real life by much so just because lever actions only saw civilian use for a majority of the time doesn't mean steampunk like nations that ride on unicorns, fly airships, and build giant moving fortresses wouldn't use them ;) But let's hold off on this discussion until Demo responds.
