Username: Keia Vewyx Name: Prahba Dena (Prahb-hah Dehy-nah), or Sister Dena Race: Asuryaa (Female Asura Demon) Age: 36 Gender: Female Homeland: IGNIS Appearance:
A white fairness graces Dena’s skin, which is already a far cry from the usual red skin tones of the Asura Demons. To make matters worse, Dena’s brothers and sisters already had the unnatural onyx black skin, and as such her white skin is considered to be an ill omen. Her shoulder-length, unkempt hair is – like most Asura – a snow white that reflects light with ease. Her demonic eyes hold a silvery color and glow, like a white mercury exists in her irises. Her facial features are sharp and angular, making her visage more fearsome than attractive. Her cheeks have subtle curves, accentuating her full lips. Her nose is small and gentle in contrast with her other sharper features. She has a straight body type; subtle curves exist on her waist and hips but only if one looks for them. She could be considered well-endowed from a human standpoint, but that is solely due to her large size. Dena is very self-conscious about her body—apparently, she considers herself short and a little flabby, especially when compared to the other normally more muscular and curvaceous Asuryaa Demonesses. Then again, she is comparing herself to monsters almost a foot taller than her that love to bathe in blood to the point of constantly fighting everything they see.
Size/build:
Dena is a giantess, standing almost 7 feet (2.1 meters) and with a 220+ lbs (99+ kg) body of highly defined muscles. Despite her immense size and weight, she is no bulky bodybuilder: She must keep herself lean and agile enough to avoid the hazards that dot IGNIS. Note that she is actually quite small (in almost all aspects) when compared to her 8 ft Asuryaa / 9 ft Asura kin.
Elemental Affinity: Fire Bio:
Among the race of demons known as the Asura, Sister Dena is among the few female demons known as Asuryaa. These demons are addicted to their pride, wrath, and bellicosity. In their eyes, physical power is the only true law of nature; the only people in the world are the conquerors and the vanquished, the predators and the prey, those who fight and those who die. Following this rule, the Asura race is heavily fractured into many different clans and families, each hostile to the other on top of already being frenzied monsters even within the Abyss. Dena was no different; she was consumed by bloodlust and aggression, obsessed with the feeling of striking a living being. It was her nature. It was imbedded in her basest desires. She was an Asura. And in the Abyss, the name Asura was synonymous with violence. But, Dena was different than other Asura. She was small, she had pale skin, and she was curious about the mortal realm. If those three things didn’t ostracize her from the Asura already, the fact that she was disgusted with her own love of violence made her an outcast even among her own family. It was surprising, but not unexpected, that someday she would have been banished from the Asura clans, and being an Asura there were no other demons that would accept such a belligerent creature to care for. Needless to say, an Unbound demon has no place in the Abyss, and she was cast into the mortal realm, released into the fiery lands of IGNIS so she may drown in her primal desires to fight and survive. And that she did, for the cruel, cold Abyss was a different place than the deranged, molten hell that was IGNIS. When a Sister from one of Fathaur’s Convents found Dena, she was an ideal Asura; bloodthirsty eyes, gnashing maw, bloodsoaked hands, black blades that had dulled but not yet lost their lethality, and an aura of pure violence and malignance that made even IGNIS’ wolfbears wary. Her body was scarred from claw and tooth, and many fresh wounds adorned her. One would think that such a berserker, a strong demon cast from a clan centered around combat, would not lose against a human woman in a heavy cloak. It was in an instant that Dena was disarmed and stumbling forward. The second time Dena charged, the cloak was over her head and a metal wire quickly wrapped around her body, binding her arms close. Though Dena thrashed around and roared for what felt like hours, the woman patiently waited for Dena to exhaust herself (or at least quiet down). When Dena finally slumped over, too tired from her futile struggle against her bonds, the woman removed the cloak from around Dena’s head and said the phrase Dena still takes to heart today: “My body may not be as strong as yours, but my mind and spirit are far stronger.” The woman brought the now docile Dena to her Convent, a holy temple that preached martial discipline and patience always surpassed raw physical prowess, and such raw power should be refined by discipline and patience. Dena of the Asura, the demons who are well known for their berserk frenzies and bellicosity, found sanctuary and, for once, a home in this Convent. Though she is still a novice and many members still distrust a being whose primal urges disregard all their teachings, Dena wanted to spread the Convent’s teachings to as many people like her as she could. Though many people both trusting and distrusting of her argued against it, Dena had made up her mind...
Personality:
As intense, impulsive, and destructive as a blazing inferno, Dena’s extremely short temper combined with her innate addiction to violence makes her wrath a very dangerous and frequent event. There are many things that can set her off at a moments notice, and few things can safely defuse a situation without any harm coming to people, furniture, or objects. Frankly, when she isn’t totally pissed she is extremely annoyed. She might be good at hiding it and she might practice meditation and yoga, but do not think once that her wrath is completely sated. Though incredibly violent and easily angered, her passion, courage, and determination easily match her explosive frenzies. Though, she often takes these traits far enough to become obsession and foolhardiness. A good example is her current internal conflict: Though she was born with her demonic belligerence, she is passionate and determined to follow the teachings of Fathaur and find a way control her wrath. Overall, Dena is prone to being rather extreme, especially when it comes to her drive and vigor. Guts!
Skills:

IGNIS Survival Knowledge – You don’t need this to be in IGNIS, though you technically won’t be living in IGNIS without it.[/*]
Demon Physique – Asura are well known for being brutes capable of chasing down horses and quite literally ripping people in half when angry. Though Dena is now mortal and has lost much of her speed and power; While about as strong as the average adult orc male, most demons in the Abyss would be laughing if they knew an Asura in the mortal realm who couldn’t even break someone’s bones with a single punch. Sometimes even Dena forgets that her power is a mere shadow of what it once was, leading her to occasionally severely overestimate her power.[/*]
Demon Stamina – Like her physical strength, her stamina is a mere fraction of a true Asura’s, which could fight at full force for almost a full day before showing signs of exhaustion. Generally speaking, she can still feel pain and exhaustion just like any other mortal, it just doesn’t hamper her as much.[/*]
Asura “Garam Hath” – People who have seen an Asura have probably seen their Garam Hath, or “heated hands.” A magic that is said to have originated from the first Asura trying to touch Fathaur, Asura can enchant their hands to take the properties of superheated metal. Basically, their hands become as hard as steel and glow white-hot, scorching and melting everything they touch as well as being too hard to cut or crush. Unfortunately, this magic is only powerful in the Abyss and mortal Asura – like Dena – are only able to make their knuckles retain the full strength of the magic. Their hands only get hot enough to warm some milk before bedtime, and their hands only get as hard as a tree trunk, a far cry from the scalding metal fists of the true Asura. Incidentally, Garam Hath is a central concept for Asura culture.[/*]
Terrifying, demonic aura – Needless to say, a cloaked giant that stands seven feet tall and can become enraged at the slightest of offenses can make a man think twice before doing something foolish. And, maybe it’s just superstition or racism, but when people know that she is a demon – an Asura, specifically – her aura of dread seems to increase twofold.[/*]
Multi-graspers – Six hands are better than two.[/*]
Healing Magic – ...Or so she wishes. Frankly, she is not suited for learning divine arts that require much finesse and gentleness. Despite trying to learn ever since she joined the Convent, she really only knows two methods of healing: A gentle and slow healing spell that relieves pain and heals superficial damage, though it takes a large amount of time (as in, it could take a full minute to simply fix up a papercut, and up to hours for something like a bite wounds or cut), and a much more rough and rather painful regeneration spell that forces the body’s cells to rapidly multiply and repair damage. On one hand, the regeneration spell uses demonic magic is much faster than the clerical healing spell; on the other hand, both can only heal superficial damage (they won’t repair torn tendons, punctured organs, broken bones, or the like) and the regeneration spell stings worse than an Ignan Two-headed Dragon Ant.[/*]
Select Firearm Training – Due to her above-average strength and numerous arms to keep the weapon steady, she has been proven to be naturally proficient at compensating for high-recoil and heavy firearms during one of the Convent's training regiments. Her known favorites include revolvers and shotguns, though she also practices with hand cannons, large-caliber pistols and rifles, and other taxing weaponry. Now, if only she was a bit better at aiming, then she might be allowed to actually use one and join the nightwatch.[/*]
Equipment:

Ignan Fathaur Convent Vestments – Heavy cloaks woven with sturdy ironbark tree sinews, inflammable Nightmare hide, and fibers from the durable Ignan black cotton. While tough enough to prevent the teeth of a hellhound from penetrating through and safe enough to wear while walking through the blazes of the Hellfire Valley, it is still just cloth and as such should not be counted on when in a swordfight or when fighting something with larger, sharper teeth than a hellhound. The standard wear appears as such, with the male’s on the left and female’s on the right. Dena’s robes are rather ragged.[/*]
Ignan Missionary Robes - Combat Technician – Under her cloak are missionary robes from IGNIS. They are crafted by the relatively same material as the cloak, but are much lighter and thinner and as such has much less protection against weaponry and heat. While Dena's missionary robes are relatively untouched as compared to her ragged cloak, the sleeves have torn off completely and the shoulders are heavily shredded to make room for her six arms and shoulders.[/*]
4x Healing Salves + large bandage bundle & assorted poultices – Small round disks filled with a robust medical ointment imported from TERRA as well as a large roll of medical cloth and numerous poultices to help prevent inflammation, pain, and some types of poison. Needless to say, potent medical supplies are in very high demand in IGNIS.[/*]
2x Asura Travellers Blades – Two long, thin one-sided blades made of a jet black metal from the Abyss. She originally had a set of six, but had to sell one of them to pay for room and board during her travels, and gave three others to the Fathaur Convent for ceremonial practices. They aren’t very sharp and are quite heavy, even for Dena, but they do their job.[/*]
Amulet of Fathaur – A lucky charm said to ward off danger, set in the shape of a stylized sun. The necklace and most of the charm are a silvery metal, while the center of the sun is a bright orange gemstone. She treasures this gift from a friend.[/*]
Large Pouch of Strange Black Ash – She uses it to coat her body. Is it for some ritual? What were the ashes before they were burned? Why do they stick to skin so well? There are many questions about these black ashes, many of which Dena outright ignores.[/*]
Other:
Her Asura name was Dhadhakate Loha Bhumi ke Chote Yatri ke Kale Ros, which means some strange phrase in Asura tongue. When she became mortal, she chose the name Prahba Dena, roughly meaning “to deliver a blaze.” She coats her body in a jet black ash out of envy from her onyx-skinned siblings and disgust of her white skin. According to a Sister from Dena’s Convent, “one of her Asura switches is being seen without her makeup on. I agree that it’s embarrassing and sometimes it feels like you’re naked, but I guess Asura demons really do go berserk when they are mad!” The ashes also do well to conceal her scent. Asura blood is bright red as opposed to human’s dark red, and has very savory taste. It’s also doesn’t agree with human stomachs, being the blood of a being from the Abyss, so Dena tends to warn people before they attempt ingesting. That said, it also attracts the nose of a few beasts that don’t know better.
