Character name: Mordem Maare Age: 26 Height: 5'8 Weight: 160 pounds Body type: Lean Appearance: Mordem has jet black hair with a thick white streak shooting backwards from the root at the top of his forehead, the rest of his semi-short messy hair is sideways parted. His two brown eyes are surrounded by darkened, tired eyelids, signs of years of sleep deprivation and excessive pill popping. His skin is pale and lifeless, a faint remnant of redish hue adorn his cheeks, nose, and lips. A vein portrudes visibly on his forehead, and his cheeks reveals a slight amount of wrinkles around the mouth upon frowning. He wears a black-striped white prisoners pants and sweater, with his hands and feet being left naked. His whole outfit is splattered with dried out blood, weeks old. Abilities: - Instrument of death; Rule of cool. Mordem has trained and studied extensively for most of his life to reach physical and mental perfection. He is well past the peak human condition. He has become an instrument of death, and he likes to show it. He has great aim, able to shoot the wings of a fly with his back turned to it. His close combat prowess is such that he´s able to take on several opponents with ease. His acrobatic skills are inspiring, parkouring near impossible angles and heights. All of this, while simultaneously reciting Shakespearean literature flawlessly, or even composing a three-act opera. He is, despite these amazing talents, at heart, still human, and so does not boast much durability other than that granted by his equipment. His strength is nothing to brag about, he could kick down a door, but that's about it. In combat, he relies heavily on mobility, and would quickly find himself in a heap of trouble if he started takings hits. Despite his superior skill, he is physically only human. - Killer strain; Cognition: (Deactivated) Through several generations of selective breeding and biological tampering; the raw killing instinct, the genetic code deciding the natural talent for ending the lives of others, a code that resided within each and every individual to varying degrees, was isolated and applied to a new generation of killers. Enabling access to a higher potential, a special abilities unique to each and every killer child. These enhancements were always utilitarian in nature. To Mordem, this manifested as a cognitive ability. Allowing him to perceive the future path of each and every living individual and objects that he could perceive, for a short moment ahead of time. He would know the exact moment they reached a point in their determined path, and be able to react accordingly. This also allows him to perceive the determined path of incoming bullets, and move out of their way, or move his weapon to deflect, before the gun even fires. Upon interacting with the determined paths of other living beings, everything shifts, and a new set of determined paths are created. This means that the longer an attack is prepared against him, the less likely it is to succeed. The key to getting past the cognition, is to be locked in combat with Mordem for extended periods, creating an endless amount of rapidly shifting paths, denying him sight of the path ahead. (Game mechanic-wise; This works in the way that he can see what is going to, or was supposed to physically happen according to someone's post. When someone moves, makes an attack, destroys a wall, etc.The shifting of paths happens when someone is interrupted, and when his own actions changes the action of others, reactions. He can never see further ahead than what other people have posted. ) Gear: Red: [img=http://www.swordsoftheeast.com/ProductImages/ryumon/Shirasaya_RED_M.jpg] This 30 inch long magical sword is an immovable object. If it's owner let's go of it's handle, it will be left indestructible and immovable in the exact position it was in when let go. When the handle is gripped and the sword wielded normally, or if it has been sheathed, it functions like a normal sword with above-average durability. It can only be wielded unsheathed by it's owner. The sheath itself is very durable. Shiv (hidden; strapped to the inside of Mordem's left wrist): [img=http://www.homemadeweapons.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/shank-or-shiv.jpg] This is a shiv. It is 10 inches long.
