In response to her whistle, three shots were fired toward her. Light on her toes, Nala jumped onto another pillar in order to dodge them. "Must've scared it or something.." Nala checked her clothing to make sure she wasn't hit anywhere. Thankfully, she wasn't. "Or it was just rude..." She hoped this wasn't the case. The girl didn't feel like fighting for her life. In the process of her quick thought of survival, she had dropped her notebook and it fell to the ground. She climbed down the pillars and grabbed it. "I can't afford to lose this." Upon getting up, Nala heard a shift in movement in front of her and looked up to see...a gun...right in her face. This only made her sigh. "I can assure you, I'm not going to attack you or anything." Her eyes scanned over the male that was holding the gun, and she immediately gave a look of disappointment. He looked as human as she did. He couldn't possibly know anything about the city. Well, it looked like she would have to take what she had. "I can also assure you, I'm perfectly capable of defending myself if you try anything stupid." She dusted off her notebook and placed it in her satchel.
