Crash Crash watched Kathy with an almost sheepish look, feeling he should probably know why she was angry with him. His brain wouldn’t allow him to think on it though...he was pretty sure he’d been a jackass somehow, otherwise the shoe wouldn’t have been hurled or dropped...though it felt like she put force into it...He raised an eyebrow at her as she spoke Don’t worry? Red light! Crash lifted his free hand and rubbed the back of his neck. “How do you know that? Come down here and tell me, I’m not shouting at the ceiling...” Crash answered, almost bracing himself for another aerial assault, he wasn’t sure whether he’d mixed his wording there...it was him so he wouldn’t have been surprised. He glanced up as a few students begun to bundle in through the doors, great he was stood in the center of the room holding a shoe above his head like Simba from the Lion King, he quickly lowered it with a shrug and a sheepish grin. After his initial reaction to the pulse Crash was looking up at the ceiling squinting against the dark. “Kathy!” He couldn’t see her, which made him panic he was sure she hadn’t fallen. He was distracted from his search as a familiar voice startled him, he was just able to recognize Eric through the darkness thanks to the glow from Matt’s hair. “Its erm...“ Crash seemed completely distracted as he shifted from foot to foot before in a pouf of purple smoke he shifted into a crimson furred jaguar, rearing up on his back legs eyes scanning the ceiling, his ears pricked forward as he saw Kathy moving along the ceiling, he was unaware her shoe was currently hanging off of his front paw. “I can explain, but I need to explain it to everyone...just give me a moment” Crash spoke to Eric quickly...dropping back down to all fours, he gave Eric an apologetic look before with one clomping foot as it was still in Kathy’s shoe he slid through a small crowd of students, guilt apparent in his face as he padded across the floor head tilted skywards, he’d wanted to tell Eric and help calm him but his own selfish thoughts made him move just under Kathy before he shifted back to his human form. He knew walking on walls was her thing but he felt better being there in case she needed him...he did after all still have her shoe. He looked back over the crowd of people, fear and uncertainty had settled like a cloud over them, he couldn’t even see them all, he could just hear the hysterical voices and cries as they huddled together in the darkness. This chaos was getting ridiculous. “Everyone, listen up!” Crash raised his voice at the crowd, having to shout pretty loud to be heard over the chaos and hysterical tones. Though for the most part it seemed to make everyone stop and listen squinting against the darkness no doubt trying to locate him in the dim light of Matt's glowing hair who was luckily stood quite close to Crash. “I know you're all wondering what the hell is going on and I know some of you are afraid, but running around screaming isn’t going to solve anything you need to calm down” Crash's voice was strong and calm despite his inner feelings, he looked at the faces in auditorium. “We of all people are not helpless; we can stand our own against whatever made that pulse. And as long as we stick together we’ll be ok" Crash felt a knot form in his stomach, he was absolutely crap at speeches he wouldn’t be surprised if no-one paid him any mind...yet again they were here weren’t they? And he seemed to be the only one with answers "I for one am not going to stand here and do nothing to protect this school or all of you. If we work together we'll get through this...now please anyone with passive abilities or unwilling to fight move to the side of the auditorium and stick together. Anyone ready to stand against whatever the hell is out there come to me" I’m not being very straight forward with them all...yet again I can’t offer them much of an explanation, but I can at least explain myself if they come over here...maybe we can work something out, a way to counter whatever that..thing is He had taken his eye off of Kathy for a moment, realizing this he quickly snapped his head back squinting up at the ceiling trying to find her again, his eyes had adjusted to the light so he could just make out her shape. In his mind whoever came towards him was more likely to be prepared to stand their ground against the opposing demons. Crash was but he couldn’t help feeling like he should have looked for Lily, she after all was the one that warned him about this...Did she find Maria Cross or Brako? What if she didn’t and she’s knelt somewhere in agony because of these things? These thoughts did not sit well with him...but he wasn’t able to query them for long, the pull to remain here was too strong to resist, his canines were prominently elongated at the moment and his forehead glistened in the light. He lifted his arm to his face wiping away the moisture that resided there. -42%-
