Ryuu happily received the basket. When suddenly, the fire nation attacked. Sort of. Out of all days, some sort of powerful force came from behind him, crossing through the entire academy. "OH FU-" The power shut down, and a few shelves were knocked down by a startled otaku. He lay still on a pile of shelves, raising the basket high up in the air. It was, thankfully, still alright, though he was feeling quite concerned about what just happened. After all, that one dude who crossed by DID say that something bad was going to happen. Maybe it was just a power outage? Or maybe it was something completely different... Either way, he realized that he was leaving Anedine all alone in the dark. The otaku got up from the shelves, apparently unharmed, before raising his free hand slightly in front of him. He then generated a small orb of plasma, lighting the room with a brilliant red light. The student never even thought of using his powers as a lantern before. Oh, how stupid he was to not use it during his anime-night marathons. "Looks like a power outage," Ryuu said, eyeing the lights that had turned off. "From what I know, though, that felt completely abnormal... Even for just a regular power outage." The otaku turned to Anedine, awkwardly putting the basket around his shoulder, as he reached out for her. "That dude who just came by... He said to come by the auditorium because something bad's gonna happen. I don't really like that place, but... unless you have any other bright ideas, I suggest we go to that place." At this moment, Ryuu's regularly evil face was gone. He looked normal and collected, which meant that he genuinely felt something different in the current atmosphere. The otaku personally went through crazier things... though, he was getting a feeling that things were going to escalate soon. --- Apophis neared the main building. His eyes wide, some of his flesh beginning to leave a disgusting trail of skin, the hollow man moved confidently and swiftly. There was nothing to stop him right at the moment. He wanted to- he needed to- meet that girl. With that said, he noticed that the angelic aura moved toward somewhere else. In fact, it was ever-so-slowly moving to the demons' initial positions. Apophis' head snapped around, shattering his durable spine, as his body suddenly made an extremely fast run for the target. Something was wrong. The angel simply moving around freely when she could clearly notice his presence was wrong. He liked wrong things. With that said, he made a mighty leap, temporarily soaring alongside the skies, before falling toward the forest area again. This time, however, someone that did not belong to the demon army was waiting for him. He knew it. There was someone guarding the girl. The hollow man giggled right before he landed. Dirt flew everywhere when he landed, and he left a fairly large crater for someone who jumped a fairly short height. A short height for someone of his caliber, that was. Apophis' right eye gleamed a black light, his other eye shining brilliantly, as he slowly stood up. He had caught an unfortunate bird during his few-second-long jump in the air. With one more bite, the bird disappeared into his infinitely wide stomach. Half of his face- the darker portion of his face- had been torn off in his flight, and only his true eye was visible underneath the dark smoke that slithered out of his cracked disguise. "I give my apologies for shutting down this... academy... missus," he said, making hand motions as if the academy were some holy place. "I accidentally did that, you know." --- Thane and the footsoldiers remained missing...
