Thomas walked along with the rest of the group, scanning their surroundings and trying to figure out where this hive thing would be. Or what it would even look like for that matter. Preoccupied as he was with this headache an the pain radiating from his dark wound, he was unaware of Joshua's observation of him. He had his own mission though, but it would have to wait until he got a chance to talk to Calhoun alone, which would be difficult as things stood. At the question from the Sergeant, Thomas nodded as they walked. "They're Heartless," he said, beginning the explanation that he was sure one of his compatriots would add to for perceived inadequacy. "They're from our world. They're kinda....They're like physical manifestations of the darkness in people's hearts." He shrugged, aware of how that might sound crazy to a military person from some sort of shooter game, but it was the truth. "So, how are we supposed to find this hive besides walking around and hoping we just stumble across it," he asked, curious to see what kind of detection methods Calhoun might have.
