They'd still come back, and Sweden hasn't had a tradition for major conflict since the 19th century; even with their increased involvement these past few years they're not anyone who'd be able to fight a modern war.

They're like the Dutch during World War 1. They may have fought a war a few years before, but they hadn't found anyone like Germany (as Sweden would to the UK) since the Belgians revolted.
