Response to the Triarinan, "Regarding the End of the Equestrians", to ALL nations We're afraid that saving the Equestrian race is impossible at the moment. We only managed to take half of the DNA before the blood itself withered away in some form of atomic decomposition. The Equestrians themselves lost their magic, which led to the items they were wearing to completely shut down, and force them to collapse. Then they, too, withering into nothing but a thin grey dust that coated our floors. We have only one that is stopped mid-decay, by way of Cryostasis. Should the pod lose power, and cryostasis deactivates, then the Equestrians will be completely eradicated from the universe. From what, we do not know. Because of the destructiveness of this weapon, we would like to ask all nations to refrain from moving deep into Equestrian space, towards their home planet, where the source of whatever murdered them may lay. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. Equiis orbit 3 7-ship formations of Corvettes folded into orbit, slowly and lazily making their way into station-orbit. As they approached various Equestrian Stations, defense and otherwise, they were struck by the total peace of the area. A fleet slowly broke apart, the energy that made their engines and support tick, suddenly gone. The ships were really, quite simply, disintegrating into large chunks, which floated aimlessly, slowly spiraling into the void, or towards the atmosphere. As the Corvettes approached a particularly large station, they were surprised. The entire station, not yet broken up, suddenly flared to life, and they could see weapons automatically turn towards them. But, the action never finished. The energy died as quickly as it came, and the various turrets and guns that dotted the station's surface almost seemed to just snap off, and float away. There was a bright light, emerging from a new crack in the station, before the station silently splintered, showering the recon Corvettes with slow-moving, harmless debris. Several other formations began folding in, receiving the mind-text that it was safe, and began searching the wreckage. Occasionally, a Corvette would slow down, and open a door to a cargo bay, to barn-swallow an interesting piece of Equestrian non-magical item. Another team began entering low orbit, and several more followed them down to the planet surface, dodging fiery debris that had caught too much gravity. As the Corvettes came down from the sky, they found the planet littered with craters and debris. They found the remnants of an entire station, at one point, that had fallen out of orbit and shattered against the ground, gouging hundreds of scars in the ground. As the Corvettes approached one of Equiis's golden cities, they found that the city fared even worse. Entire buildings had fallen down, some power plants that used something other than the usual magical energy had overheated, and detonated, leaving scars in the outskirts of the city. For whatever reason, radiation began to grow exponentially as the Corvettes passed over the collapsed sky-scraper, towards the center of the city. Reaching a palace, the Corvettes began to land, Supreme Spiders inside ready to run out into the hostile world, and see what awaits them inside the Equiis capital city.
