How about the intel she had on her target was really piss poor with only one specific point? Something like he has a tattoo on his ass and that is the only way she can conclusively ID the person shoe is suppose to contact. That way she will know that she needs to be close to Michael, but not until she sees the tattoo she doesn't know the target is Michael?

Actually wait is her target Michael? If that is the case then we might need a back story on that? The people who hired her think he is a cop or something like that perhaps?
