The attack had missed, claws scraping on the ground as he made a sudden scamper away from the danger and towards the food. How dare they try to take his food and then try to attack him. Claws scratching on the floor, he turned himself around and kept in front of the pile, his arms raised slightly. It was definitely Viral, but a strange change in him had caused his mind to revert to a more maddened state as something tried to force its way out. His own energy that they couldn’t sense was running high, fuelled with the desire to eat all he could to fill the pit in his stomach. With golden pointed furry ears folded back, he couldn’t help but feel threatened during this time and yet didn’t show any signs of attacking madly, just moving fast and fending them off whenever he could. Shu had got a fright when the figure almost flew passed them with Yumi disappearing off into the darkness apparently unharmed. He didn’t know what was happening or what it was but that moment when it got very close he wrapped his arms around his brother and held onto him, staring out with both fear and concern. Upon hearing that it was Viral, he quickly looked up before gasping a little at the sound of claws scratching metal, feeling scared to what was going on, “V-Viral…?” he muttered, but Yumi quickly told them to hush as she thought up a new plan to bring to the table. His biggest fear would be that Viral would change into the killing machine he was before, but this time he seemed hissy and withdrawn, not willing to attack blindly. With his body slightly shaking with Yumi now elsewhere, Viral’s strong senses pierced through the darkness as he let out a growl of a hiss when they spoke, slowly backing off. It wasn’t so much a pain he was feeling, more itchy and tight than pain and it was making him feel anxious. With claws ready to attack, he slowly dropped down again, moving over the pile of leftovers protectively when Yumi moved the same way. Immediately seeing her as a feline, he stared at her for a moment before he jerked suddenly, making a sudden high bounce away from the food, his arms angling down more than his legs as if he had made the leap while forgetting his position, landing on his face with a thump elsewhere before turning around again. He had practically submitted his food to her, but then again he just hissed louder with a strong growl following inbetween, watching her carefully.
