It was certainly a mystery, Takeshi shouldn’t had been so happy just because he was around his brother. It was strange too; they hardly looked related yet it was only because of their father telling them it was true that they were siblings. Maybe it was because the twins were exactly the same that it was strange, but nevermind. It was still very strange but for now they were going to have to have faith that Takeshi hadn’t actually gone soft in combat and that Shu wasn’t actually causing Takeshi to deteriorate mentally. Scratching his head, Kai looked to Vegeta as he spoke up, shrugging a little, “Who knows whether Takeshi will tell us what he really thinks, but Shu will probably always be a mystery. I don’t see that kid ever getting the courage to talk up whatever goes on in his mind”, he sighed, “Well if you don’t want to see it then I won’t give you an idea about it, but I can probably say that he did carry us through our missions. Shu probably wouldn’t had stood a chance on the missions without going crazy”. Viral didn’t want to risk Shu getting hurt just incase the worst happened, he was supposed to protect the younger ones and him getting hurt would be a definite defeat. The aliens were fiddly and annoying with them all hosting dangerous weapons, ones that couldn’t be avoided no matter how thick your skin was. Completely ignoring the wound on his arm, he tried to force the aliens down to the ground while making a sudden movement towards Shu; however, with a sudden snatch of his arms the aliens managed to pull him back, “Get Takeshi out! I’m not-“ Silenced by one of the aliens, Viral only made a glance down at himself to stare down the sword that had inserted itself into his abdomen. That was just it, he was defeated by a couple of aliens and what was worse was he had let down Takeshi and Shu. Shu was in a panic, he didn’t know how to make this work for him as their numbers around him only grew. Viral was not having the easiest time, despite looking a lot better. Shu quickly tried to go to his aid but as he was gradually cut off, he turned to look at the staff users just when he thought he could jump out and into the trees. Looking to Viral, he stared at him with a panicked expression before the worst happened as he was suddenly skewered by one of their swords. A sudden wave of fear washed over him, he hadn’t been able to help his friend at all. As anger and grief suddenly washed over him, Shu dropped his own stave and immediately turned to the aliens, his eyes going red for a brief second before a massive blow to his head knocked him straight down face first into the dirt. The alien with the flail had moved in and managed to strike his target, ending with Shu on the ground and not moving.
