While that would be awesome, the material used to augment the Soldiers (ironically also called Meld) is a one way street. As it is an alien material, after it is applied to the various augmentations, it can only be used for that type of augmentation, anything else will be rejected by the host....

but hey it's an RP, perhaps there is a way to do hidden in an alien database.
