Hah, absolutely. I loved it, some people don't, but hey, everyone has their own opinion. I can see some of the criticisms, specifically "There wasn't any Godzilla in the first hour!,' but it helps to understand that Edwards was pulling both from classic Godzilla, and some elements of 70's 'monster' movies like [i]Jaws[/i], where the presence and impact of the character isn't always meant to be drawn from them being on screen, but (hopefully) from the genuine fear and confusion displayed by the human characters.
