Evon gave him a weak smile when he mentioned her parents knowing how much she loved them, she was a little sadden that he wanted to sleep but she had been selfishly keeping him awake. He was right, it was best he sleep since he would have to drive tomorrow and it seemed like there was no room for her to ask if she could drive. Sighing softly she nodded, “Sorry I woke you up,” she mentioned as she watched him take his robe off. Evon waited for a bit before standing as she moved over to a small shelf, there were a few books so she decided on reading something until she got tired again. She wanted to take her mind off things so reading was the best option. Returning back to bed she sat up and quietly began reading, it didn’t take her long to get engrossed with the story, it had been about a human girl growing up in the olden times. It was a unique view since she didn’t know much about history. When evening came Mary had been outside knocking eagerly at the door as she waited for someone to respond. Eventually she opened the door and found Evon sleeping upright with a book on her lap, “It’s evening,” she spoke out knowing they needed to get up early so she figured she’d come in. She would have loved to pounce on both of them but seeing Evon sleep in such a way gave it away that she had slept late.
