Nemo was named after her fathers favorite thing…his boat. Though her mother tried she could never seem to sway her husband into another name for their child. Though it was beautiful name she could see why it was strange for a child to be named after a boat instead of the other way around. When Nemo was seven she started falling in love with the ocean. instead of going to school memo used to skip class to swim in the misty waters of their village. No one really understood why she would want to. The waters were always a dark grey blue even in the sunlight. There were even stories that within the waters below most ship boats and straight down to the bottom their were mythic creatures lurking. evil things with long slimy tails and glowing eyes. Nemo couldn't dis-prove it and intact she hoped it was true. She of course was forced to go to school by her mother who started watching a close eye on her. while her mother was watching Nemo would grow into a perfect student always on time for class, and a hard worker. There was one thing her mother felt Nemo lacked; a good connection with her father. So ever day after school Nemo was forced to work on the fishing boat with her father. Most of the time Nemo simply brings in the fish, but she also draws them while her father starts to sail back to shore. She takes note of their scale color and size of teeth or lack there of. She takes down their name and puts a point on her map as too where she caught them. Something else she does is she always lets at least one go. She can't stand to see them die so she feels if she at least lets one go its not as bad.
