Whilst it's a nice, interesting idea, it doesn't quite work in this setting unfortunately. But hopefully you'll find somewhere to utilize it at some point.

As for fruit themed magical girls, that kind of already exists in the form of Fresh Precure... About a dance group with fruit themed powers. Note that this was a few years before Gaim; Toei just [i]love[/i] to reuse themes it seems. XD
