1) I'm glad I did it despite how fuckin exhausted and shitty I feel. It took me out of some stressful negativity I was dealing with lately and also showed me more of the community I've been living in. Plus I love working hard and feeling like I've helped people. It's satisfying in an esoteric way.

2) I joined this honors club thing last semester and part of that is participating in stuff like this. We worked paid jobs but instead of getting wages, they were donated to our club for Relay for Life, which we're also participating in. I committed to volunteering for this much earlier in the semester when I was less tired and stressed. haha
