"Argh!" He muttered upon the word 'cute'. It was the only word that never describes a man. Especially one with strong capabilities such as himself. He crossed his arms in annoyance and pulling his face away. "There you go again! Oh, how the memories are coming back to me bitter sweet." He kept his face away for several moments. Even then, he already wanted to see Emilia again. So his head turned, to see the smiling angel next to him. He wanted to just reach out his arm and give her a one-armed hug. The park was becoming gradually more silent. Crickets would start to screech and stray cats and dogs began to emerge. "Maybe we should ask our parents what happened. They are bound to know something." It was a smart offer. However, thinking over it-- What would happen if they got the wrong idea? Perhaps it wasn't the time to ask something about that at the current time. He shook his head in disagreement, but he'd expect that Emilia would already know the answer for that question the moment she asked. He smiled after. Lann decided to just go along with his idea of hugging Emilia with one arm. He reached in and pulled her close to him, seeing her watching the nightfall looming slowly. He continued to share the candy with Emilia. "I guess we should get on our way, we can continue to share as we go?" He snorted at her request. "Why not just stay here with me? Spend a bit more time to finish sharing the candy before we go. Don't worry, you have me. You'll be okay." He reassured her. "You can count on me Emilia." There was a grin, before he gazed onto her eyes. He leaned a little closer, slowly creeping towards her lips while he remained silent. He felt his heart beating fast for doing it and it felt odd. Well, he was unsure. Just as he was within inches away, he placed the candy between them and took another lick before pulling away. "Oh. Umm. Yeah. I'll walk you home again so..." He was sheepish and blushing madly. "Does that sound like a good idea?"
