As Mila looked around she saw as Spencer was across the room, her arms around around another girl in a protective manner. She could not tell who it was though it wasn't important, Spencer would keep her safe. She wondered why Spencer had been all the way on this side of the Museum but the thought was quickly set on the back burner as a voice began to sound out through the museum. Her heart sank as the man continued on his rant. This was certainly not a simple robbery. They were here to send a message. Mila silently glided across the floor with practiced steps. She went over to an unconscious security guard, knowing the man was still alive from his faint groaning and squirming. "I need to borrow this..." She said quietly to the man, though certainly he couldn't focus enough to realize what was going on. Mila tore the pistol free of the guards holster, clicking off the safety. She was in a low crouch, her practiced instincts leading her. Suddenly as the man finished speaking armed soldiers began to walk through walls into the room. Mila quickly slide behind a large chunk of fallen debris, gaining a bit of a barrier between herself and the soldiers. Luckily enough Mila didn't have to use her powers and reveal her identity. She was well trained in firearms and close quarters combat. She would keep her class mates safe. At least for as long as she could. Dipping out from around the debris Mila fired several rounds towards the soldiers. Most hitting body armor but a few finding their target. Two of the soldiers were hit,one in the neck and the other in the lower abdomen just below his vest. As the group then took notice of Mila's location they began to fire. Automatic rifles tore into the concrete slab of debris. She knew she had to move. Looking right and left she saw a corridor a short sprint away. She knew they would follow her, leading at least most away from the rest of the group. Mila took several deep breaths, getting up the nerves to make herself vulnerable. Images flashed of her new friends she had made. She was doing this for them. To keep them safe. She didn't want her friends to be in danger. Finally summoning the courage she pushed herself off the debris pile and shoved herself into a fast sprint across the room. Running in a crouch as she blind fired at the mass of soldiers that returned fire in kind. Most of their shots missed though a bullet grazed her side right before she dove through the door and fell into a tumble into the corridor. She grabbed at her side as she winced in pain, red staining her palm. She grunted as she pushed herself to her feet and ran further down the corridor before swinging into a room and hiding behind a wall. She panted softly, hearing footsteps begin to head down the corridor she quieted her panting. She quickly slid out the clip, checking how many rounds she had left. Four. She would have to make them counter. She slammed the clip back into the gun and held once more onto her injured side.
