She was only a little surprised to feel Lanns arm coming around her. She let him pull her close and had to keep herself from snuggling into him. Instead, she pulled one leg up to sit on, so that she could face him without having to turn too much. She looked down at her legs and ran a hand over her skirt, sorting it back into place. WHen Lann answered her she looked back up, her eyes almost naturally seeking his lips and taking a second to lift to his eyes. "Why not jsut stay here with me? Spend a bit more time to finish sharing the candy before we go. Don't worry, you have me. You'll be okay." Emilia smiled at his words. "You can count on me Emilia." he added and her smile grew even wider. She didn't doubt that. Especially after seeing him in action the day before. There was no place safer than here, with him. She felt that. His grin, paired with his direct gaze had her heart fluttering, then grow to a full out thumping as she noticed he was leaning forward. Her gaze went back to his lips and she watched as they slowly got closer and closer. She lifted her eyes to his, then closed them. And felt something hard and sticky against her lips. Emilias eyes blinked open and she stared at Lann licking the candy, then pulling away. She flushed furiously. Had she made the wrong assumptions? Was she really so desperate to get kissed by him, htat she would turn into such a fool? She hoped he had not noticed. "Oh. Umm. Yeah. I'll walk you home again so.." for some reason he was blushing madly with a sheepish look on his face and she wondered whether he was actually thinking the same things as her. "Does that sound like a good idea?" he asked her and she took a second to scramble an answer together, her eyes still wandering to his lips when she didn't pay attention- "Y-yeah, sure. Sounds good." she answered him, knowing she sounded a little clueless, but playing it off and reaching out to tug the lollipop out of his hands to give it a few licks and nibs herself. It was almost dark now and the park was mostly deserted, except for the occasional cat making its rounds or onw or two dog-owners going for a quick walk. The park was illuminated by the last rays of the setting sun, mixed with the light of the lampposts that had been tunred on some time ago. Crickets were screeching all around them. It was an absolutely romantic setting. The thought had her mind wandering to kissing Lann again and she looked at him, a slight blush on her face. As Daring as she could be sometimes, she was not comfortable initiating this kind of thing.
