Sayaka's a young girl with a disease that affects her memories, currently untreatable with today's medicine. As such, most of her memories are clouded or have been completely forgotten, though this hasn't really stopped, and has no intention of stopping with memories of a distant past, forcing her to make routine visits to the hospital to monitor her condition and hopefully hear about a breakthrough concerning her condition. 

She's also the current head of the Special Extracurricular Execution Squad and wielder of the Persona, Lancelot.

Her first encounter with the Dark Hour was just before she entered middle school. It was pretty odd, waking up and having everything be... Weird. At first she thought it was some kind of hallucination until the Shadows came and tried to do what they do best. She probably would've been offed then and there since she lacked any substantial defenses, but fortunately a former SEES member was also hospitalized at the time and was able to provide assistance. Despite being in elementary school, she'd hang around her 'big brothers' and 'big sisters' until she'd finally awaken her Persona. Eventually the rest of the group would leave for college or die or however they chose to move on in their lives, leaving Sayaka the sole member and de-facto leader at age 15. Concerning her family, she... Doesn't really have one - her parents stopped giving a damn about her many years ago and left her with a willing family friend.

Based on his rather... [i]youthful[/i] appearance and manner of speech, many people tend to think of Nagito as an innocent, childlike person. He works hard in class, maintains the school's highest GPA, is the class representative, [i]and[/i] participates in extracurricular activities like the SEAD and the Welcoming Committee! How could someone like that be any sort of shady?

That is an incorrect assumption. For your own safety, do not fall into the same trap like everyone else who didn't get to know him any better. Nagito didn't get the best grades in Gekkoukan High for being an idiot, after all. 

A self-proclaimed pervert with an unmatched otaku knowledge, once you get past the 'stage face' people start to realize that this kid is [i]really freakin' weird[/i], despite his relatively usual upbringing. Nagito was born in Tokyo and lived there for the first 13 or so years of his life. Nothing really important happened then, just living an uneventful life, just trying to get by. Eventually, his parents would just up and decide to move randomly to Tatsumi Port Island. Why? Damned if he knew, but it's not like it really mattered to him. 

First year: uneventful. Second year: also uneventful. Third year: Nagito experiences Dark Hour for the first time. 

It was scary as hell, all things considered that wasn't necessarily a wrong comparison. He was able to survive by using his 'superior agility' as well as arming himself with various household implements. Eventually though, this tactic fell out of use once he managed to conjure up his Persona, Karna. Now they were talkin', and now Dark Hours went by substantially easier with the help of his Persona. Eventually he'd make it across one of the SEES members, and eventually get signed up with the team. 

He's still definitely a pervert even in those situations, if I may add.
