Steph listened to what the man was offering, it seemed almost to good to be true, which made Steph sceptical.
Cyrus moved to get something and Steph instantly went for her gun, her thumb had grazed the handle when she realised the man was just going for his backpack.
She moved her hand away from her pistol, "Sorry I just.." Steph blushed feeling stupid and paranoid.
Steph picked up the two power bars and stuffed them into her satchel.
"I think it best we stay on this side and you stay on that side, for now at least.." Steph said noting the metal fencing between them.
"Just leave right now, just get out of here, this isn't like you, just run" Steph was screaming in her head but she shook the thoughts away.
