[i]Oh, yeah, just a ray of sunshine, aren't you?[/i] Lillah thought as he explained that they were only alive because he didn't want to kill them.She, too, tensed as he reached for his bag, but it was about all she could do without a weapon at hand. When he pulled out the snacks, she relaxed a bit and just frowned to herself as she took the power bars, reminding herself that she should have a weapon close at hand at all times. "Thanks," she said coolly, dropping the snacks by her bag. 

"Well, if she wants you to keep your distance for the night, I have to go along with that. She's jumpy enough as it is," she stated flatly, only a slight twitch of the corner of her lips indicating she was teasing; she wasn't the best at jokes. After a moment she added, "We'll figure out what we're doing tonight, though...Moving toward the countryside is a smart idea and it would be safer with three people--especially if what you said about the horde is true." She glanced to Steph, partly apologetic but mostly reassuring. "But yeah--tonight, we want our space."
