Steph was looking to her pineapple, eating away and soon would be finishing them.

"I saw this guy in the road on my way back--dead, bullet through his head...It had to have been fresh and you said you only got here a little bit before I did..." Lillah explained

Steph slowly looked up, meeting her eyes with Lillah's

"I mean, I assume he was bit or something--there was a bunch of zombies, too," The girl added quickly.

Steph looked into the girls eyes for a few moments, then slowly looked down.
In a serious, mono-tone voice Steph replied
"I did what I had to."
She finished the last of her pineapple and lay back down. She looked away from Lillah, she wasn't proud of what she did, but she felt she did what she though was right... at least that's what she kept telling herself....
She turned towards her companion once again, as she had been lying before. This time there was no eye contact though.
