Lillah watched her evenly, only pursing her lips when Steph finally spoke. She was quiet for a moment, her eyes moving up to the ceiling when she realized Steph wasn't going to be looking at her anytime soon. She drew in a deep breath and opened her mouth to say something about her own guilt in an attempt to ease Steph's mind, but she stopped herself. Instead, she just swallowed her words and remained silent.

After a moment, though, she looked back to Steph and spoke on a different subject after clearing her throat and grabbing another peach. "Well, I have a pesky little thing called insomnia. It sucks when I'm on my own, but it means you got someone to keep watch for a little while when you finally doze off," she explained. "If you can even get to sleep, being as twitchy as you are."
