Today is Memorial Day for those in the U.S. This is simply a moment to offer heartfelt thanks to all those here among our players and our lurkers and anyone who just happens to stumble across our humble RP OOC, who have ever served in the armed forces. Whether in the American forces or in your home country, [i]thank you for your steadfast service, your commitment and your sacrifice.[/i] This cannot be said enough.

And for those who did not personally serve in the armed forces, but who had a father or mother, grandparents or uncles or aunts, brothers or sisters or cousins, husbands or wives or dearly loved friends who did: [i]thank you too,[/i] for all the love and support, encouragement and faith that allowed those people closest to you to continue in their service. No soldier, airman, Marine or sailor can go it alone. And so today, I'd like to honor your love and commitment and sacrifice as well, that helped make that service possible.
