Sam gladly accepted her kiss before nodding and joining Stevie under the bridge, giving them both a much needed reprieve from the rain. He sat down beside her, putting his arm around her and pulling her close so they could share body heat, just as they had last night. Given how humid it was, it would take some time for them to dry, but at least the bridge was protecting them from the rain.

"You know, I enjoy being this close to you." Sam commented, placing a hand on her cheek and rubbing her back with the other. "I mean, I know we have a lot to worry about. In the short term, we have to get home and to our apartment without being arrested for indecent exposure, and beyond that...we're werewolves now, as crazy as that sounds to say. I honestly don't know how to deal with that, but...I'm glad to be facing it with you. I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather have at my side. Even now, being caught naked and cold under a bridge out in the middle of the forest, just looking at you gives me hope. Maybe, just maybe everything will be okay." He ran his hand through her hair for a few moments before giving her another kiss, this one being much more passionate.
