For a few moments, Sam simply held onto her silently, letting them warm each other as they slowly dried. The sound of rain only seemed to be growing stronger, which made him definitely not regret the choice of staying under the bridge. The storm was a veritable downpour, punctuated by flashes of lightning and the roar of thunder. Sam hoped it would not last too long, but he could think of worse situations to be in than his present one. As Stevie kissed him, he found himself excited and nervous at the same time. His heart was racing, as she could no doubt feel. He loved her, and was afraid for their prospects of getting home not because he was worried about himself, but because he was afraid for her well-being. Still, his thoughts about the situation could not be denied, what the look in his eyes said could not be mistaken. He looked into her eyes with a light smile, but was obviously incredibly nervous. "So...s-should we....you know?" He began as he looked across her body, unsure of how to continue his question.
