Hayate Hyƫzu Konoha - Team 2 Though he wasn't entirely happy that Meisa had felt the need to differentiate him and his two teammates, Hayate had understood why she had done it. As she briefed them, he stood, listening carefully to every word. When she mentioned that they would need to kill every last bandit, Hayate didn't even bat an eye. He found it slightly odd that killing did not bother him the way it used to, and a part of him was uncomfortable with that. Turning to follow Kensuke as he left the rooftop, Hayate noticed that they were going to have to keep the same pace as before. After they had been travelling for some time, Hayate was a little disappointed in himself that he had fallen behind Kensuke-sensei. Adjusting his weights so that they were much lighter, Hayate renewed his pace, growing a little closer to the Jounin. A part of him was ashamed that he had to lower the weights in order to match the pace set by Kensuke, but as he realized how far they had come and how Kensuke was in much better shape than him, Hayate felt the shame diminish. Arriving at their destination, Hayate was glad to see that his breathing was only slightly heavier than normal, and that he was not as tired as he thought he would be. Glancing at his two teammates, Hayate felt a small hint of jealousy at their sensory abilities. Once Kensuke had finished speaking, and the other members of Team 7 had announced their discoveries, Hayate simply stood still, awaiting his orders. He had no questions, nor did he feel the need for rest. Looking at Kensuke, Hayate waited to see what the Jounin would do.
