How was he so steady? With both her and Vegeta pushing and pulling surely Viral should budge at least a little bit. Aside from teetering however he wouldn't move from his spot, he was steadfast where he stood. Grunting a bit as she exerted some effort she soon followed the Saiyan's lead and raised her power, trying to make use of the extra strength to restrain the Beastman. Ah, there it was at last, a little movement. The small increase in power had given her the means to make Viral teeter at least, and just a little more should do the trick. Yet just as they seemed to be gaining ground their friend-turned-beast had another idea. Abruptly he began to move backwards, much too easily compared to before. It was then Yumi realized he meant to topple down on top of her, and with a sharp gasp of surprise she released him and bolted away, narrowly being flattened in the process. Keeping herself well up in the air she looked at Viral surprised, not quite believing he'd actually just tried that. If he was willing to hurt them to get out of here then all the reason to keep him locked inside. "Come on science geek, tell me you've got a plan!" she shouted, eying Viral nervously. If not they may just have to knock him out. Whatever that little errand Vegeta had sent them on, to get food, it wasn't going to work fast enough. "I do, we've just got to keep him busy! Don't give him room to try and escape!" The boys had to bring that food, that was the best theory he had right now. Even if it was a silly one it was all they had to go off, they had to try it. Watching as Viral rolled over on the ground he gritted his teeth, stopping his rising energy at a moderately high point. Okay, so this was going to be a contest of raw strength then, was that it? Damn, he actually rather wished that bothersome Leto was here right now, that man could likely restrain Viral. With the Beastman on the ground Vegeta took a chance, jumping after him and trying to keep him pinned to the ground. Throwing himself on top wasn't going to do a whole lot, he didn't exactly way a sizable amount. Instead he grabbed hold of Viral's front shoulders, pushing down with assistance of his Ki to try and keep him pinned. Yumi picked up on the tactic and did the same, attempting to force down his hind legs to immobilize him completely. They shouldn't be raising their powers, that couldn't solve anything. Fighting Viral was only going to make things worse, wasn't it? There was the chance they had no choice too, that it was being done in self defense. That was even more worrisome, it meant he was threatening them. If it were him and Shu down there then sure, he could understand Viral attacking them. Shu he tolerated for the most part, but Takeshi was well aware there was animosity towards him. The fact that Viral was attacking the two closest people to him meant he was in a really bad way, and all the more reason to hurry up. Grabbing Shu's arm then he nearly dragged Shu to the mess hall, letting go as soon as they were in and the lights were on. The place was a total disaster and the twins and their father would probably be ticked, but they would worry about that later. Paying little heed to the mess around them Takeshi went immediately to the large refrigerator, undoing the lock and throwing it open, beginning to remove everything he figured Viral would eat. "I don't know Shu... I still don't get it..." he remarked, frowning as he removed another slab of fish. He'd eaten a lot at dinner, he'd even seemed ill afterwards. So how the heck was the guy this hungry? Shu could hardly see where he was going with how much he'd taken, Takeshi had a fair less amount off food himself. Closing the refrigerator he looked at his brother exasperatedly, reaching over and taking the topmost package off the top so he could see. Hurrying right out alongside the younger boy the brother's went back down towards the training hall. On the way there they had passed Kabocha returning from the library, Takeshi not even noticing him as they rushed past. "I hope this is enough... This is more than even I would eat," he mumbled, looking past his pile to see where the ramp was. When he got to it he slowed considerably, not wanting to slip and lose everything he was carrying. Up ahead he could still feel their friend's energies, and was relieved that they had plateaued. At least they weren't rising anymore, hopefully that meant the immediate threat was over. Now hopefully they could get in there with all this food before anything bad happened.
