Giovanni didn’t hang around the squad 7 barracks long. Sensing that Kenny was there was enough to afford himself a small break. The man would fine him eventually and then they could report. If it took to long he would simply report by himself and take the backlash. Sudednly he could feel the spititual pressure of captain Viole even though... he knew he was no where near him. it subsided eventually and He gave it little thought. As he walked, however, he was drawn to the commotion at the Squad four barracks. While he had no idea what was going on he did notice that Captain Viole’s spiritual pressure was not present. He walked cautiously toward the crowd in growing disbelief. He pushed past a few people but didn’t have to get to the too far into the building to confirmed what he hoped was bull shit. Somehow captain Viole was dead. “shit” was all he said verbally. But on the inside his mind was spinning. While there were very few emotions frying his brain the potential fallout of the death of a captain was what was threatening to drive him crazy. Gio had only spoken to the man maybe twice since he graduated the academy, so he wasn’t emotionally involved. But given the already sparse number of captains alive and serving losing any of them would be crippling to the military power of the Seireitei. Slowly Gio walked backwards, it wasn’t his place or his job to try to figure out what happened. Only how to deal with what would happen next. Hopefully the man had lined someone up to at least run the relief station. Even in their time of grief they were still the medical unit and can’t afford to fall off. Gio looked up at the barracks and the relief station once more before walking away from squad 4. Naturally the head captain would be busy dealing with the fall out of the death of a captain so Gio wouldn’t bother him with the report. Instead he went to squad 10 to try to dig up some information on his mysterious female friend. Anything to get his mind off captain Viole. It dawned on him as he began to approach an older member of the squad that she probably knew he would ask about her. She was probably leaving him bread crumbs, but he had nothing else to do rather than to follow them. for now anyway.
