Mary looked at Larel, really surprised he was addressing her directly, but she nodded, looking back forward again to try and keep him from being uncomfortable because of her. When they reached the village and his attention went to the food scent, both Raina and Mary looked at him, raising their brow/brows at his behavior. They both decided to talk to each other over something as Larel addressed Hotaru, who looked at him, her attention seeming a bit strained, "No, she's not bothering me much, though she has something to say about everything and it's like a child on a trip constantly asking when is it over," she muttered, "Nothing's interested her enough to cause serious problems, though she just says she's waiting for the right opportunity to strike out, whatever the hell that means," she shook her head, then looked around when they walked in to the inn, seeming quite relieved when they were out of the direct sunlight, "And I look forward to the game," she added with a nod to Larel before getting out her coin purse. She got out a few gold pieces and put them in Larel's hand, "Go get your food. I can handle securing a room. I'll try and get something for us on the first floor," she said before heading over to the counter. Mary came in and stood off to the side so as to not bother Larel, and Raina went with Hotaru to secure her own room, not wanting to be a part of the group if she could avoid it. Hotaru was being sure to get a second room for Alari and Kaori, figuring they weren't going anywhere any time soon. "Away?" Mera raised a brow at that, "Where are you going this time?" she walked a bit closer to him, "Or am I going to get the same treatment as this one and Larel?" she motioned to Kaori, meaning where Alari avoided the question by giving some obscure answer, "Which I can tell you right now I will not enjoy that kind of response." "Awww, you want him to be open and honest," Eryn crooned to which she rolled her eyes, though the slight tint of her cheeks betrayed her to be saying yes in response to that, "I bet you were really wondering what the answer to his favorite food was," he sat up, loping over at Alari before looking at Kaori, "Perhaps we should walk a few paces away so the lovers can have their conversation," he said and Mera put her hand to her face. "Shut up, Eryn, honestly," she mumbled. "What? Just admit it!" He stood up, dusting himself, "Come, Kaori, you can walk over here with me and tell me what it is you like most about what it is you choose to paint. And don't worry, you shan't get any kind of negative responses. I've been around long enough to know there is a beauty in all varieties of art," he smiled, starting to walk, motioning for Kaori to come with him. "He seems to believe he's some sort of cupid. I don't know why everyone seems to think I need one," She mumbled, rubbing the back of her neck, shaking her head as she went a couple steps to the side, not wanting make eye contact now that Eryn had gone and created that atmosphere. She could honestly say she wanted straightforward answers from him and was quite tired of whenever he wouldn't give them, but she supposed she would have to get over it. She wasn't expecting her brother to pull that stunt, but he was bored, apparently. Whenever he was bored, he was about as tricky as the twins in doing what he had to do to get what he wanted and he had made it apparent he wanted nothing more than to see Mera end up happy with someone and Alari seemed keenly interested in Mera which tickled him pink. As she said, he was trying to play cupid, to help her get closer to Alari whenever and wherever he could.
