More bullets where whizzing past, Steph had to think of something or else Charles would definitely catch up, the other two where injured and even Steph was getting tired. As they moved over a set of desks that had half blocked the corridor Steph had an idea. When they where a few feet away from the wooden blockade, Steph removed the Flare gun from her satchel and cocked the hammer. "One sec" She said to the other two stopping suddenly "Ill catch up" She muttered as she closed her right eye, she crouched and aimed the flare gun towards the wooden debri. A bullet nearly took her ear off and made her accidentally fire. The flare produced a blinding red light as it shot quickly out of the short metal barrel, it arched quickly to the floor just in front of the barricade then slid deep into it, stopping as it lodged itself within. The Flare exploded like a firework and in the process set the corridor ablaze, creating a wall of burning wood between the doctor, zombies and the trio. It would slow him down, and that's what they needed. Steph began to sprint back to the others, realising just how easy she could just leave the two wounded people. She decided not to though, partly because she had no firearm now and she wasn't so good at hand to hand.
