Name: Riley Jade Abrams Age - 19 Appearance: Scars - Her arms, legs, and torso are littered with scars, ranging from deep to only scrapes (and some burns). Most of the scars are very thin and superficial looking, due to the surgical nature of the blade she favors. Tattoos - She has a tattoo of a hummingbird behind her left ear, one that she got during a failed attempt to get sober. The hummingbird is supposed to a symbol of hope. She also has a large group of stars down the right side of her ribs, a band of A7X lyrics around her left ankle, and a sprawling set of angel wings along her back. They are tattered looking, and bold, and the bottoms are scarred and further frayed from her long history of self harm, and obsession with cutting new skin. Outfit - She's wearing a black pair of super skinny jeans, a white tunic with a black cammi underneath, and a red hoodie with the thumbs cut out of the sleeves. She's also wearing a pair of black Dr. Martens that are perfectly polished. Her ears are stretched to a 5/8" and she's adorned them with a simple pair of black tunnels. Problem/Addiction - She's suffered from a severe self harm addiction since she was ten years old. Background - The self harmer Bio - Riley grew up in upstate New York, 'loved' conditionally by a mother and father who were never around. They worked high end office jobs, and because of her problem, they began to stop taking her to functions with them. They almost pretended they didn't have a daughter, as sight of her might have scared off potential buyers. So she was left alone, with canned food and her own thoughts for weeks at a time. She raised herself, angry and afraid from the time she was ten years old, until she decided to leave her parents, only recently. However, while in discussion with her parents about her wanting to move out, they brought up that they knew about her problem, wrenching her arms around to show her that they had seen her problem written all over her skin. They threatened her with the adult protective services, which would admit her to what she saw as a psychiatric hospital. It was like death. It was terrifying as a threat, and she offered to stay, however, the damage was done.
