Down in the pit he groaned silently, pushing against the web to make room so he can stand up. It took a bit of pulling but he managed to tear through it, making a large enough gap for him to be able to stand. Alright neat, that part's done, but the actual standing was going to be an issue. His legs were resisting his attempts to stand, there might be a bruise on his spinal column. If that were the case, he wouldn't be able to run. "I'm getting too old for this aren't I? How did I let myself get into that position? I'm better trained than this, I let myself get caught up in the fight rather than thinking on the real life or death situation I was in. A rookie's mistake." The pundambayan closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. "I lost myself to the power, and Fury's abilities outmatched me. If I want to come out of this alive, I'm going to have to use my training to take him down. Fighting wild and animalistic isn't the way of going about it, especially against a foe who's younger and more wild than I am." Now he couldn't rely on the rings, if he brought the rings up then he was sure to fall to their influence. The engine would take up the slack and at least put him on equal footing with Fury, but the only advantage he was going to have was his training. Thinking back to his training he remembered the planet he was thrown on to survive, fighting against hyper gravity monsters with little to survive on but his own wit and skill. Then he thought to the war. The armored foes were numerous and far too well armed for his people to compete. Kanitah was the only thing that had stood between them and his people. If he had've let himself get like this back then, it would have spelled extinction for the pundambayans. "Find your center." Pushing himself up against the wall he sighed, breathing in slowly and letting it out quickly. "Wounds with the engine are superficial. If the engine fails, I will die. If I drop the engine, I will succumb to shock." He bit his lip and forced himself back up to his feet, a slight numbness in his legs. "And he's not alone. Another man was fighting Khold." Kanitah slid back down to his bottom and stretched his legs out. Taking another breath to level himself out again. "This might not be a fight I can walk away from. Fury's on par with me, and he's much younger than I am." His eyes opened up and he stared at the torn webbing he was inside of. "How can I stop him?" Those rectangular pupils of his rocked back and forth as he watched the fight he was just in, replaying it and replaying it like a broken record. "Y'might have messed up this time old boy."
