@ ShiverShiver I should probably add that..well...with the new Jedi Order under the guidance of Luke Skywalker, Emotions weren't outlawed. Hell, a whole new code was formed. Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy. Jedi use their powers to defend and to protect. Jedi respect all life, in any form. Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy. Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training. And this little tidbit from Wookiepedia The teachings of the New Order differed from those of the Old in several ways, and were closer to those practiced by the Jedi before the Great Sith War. Jedi were allowed to marry and have families, and each Jedi Master could train multiple apprentices. Jedi were allowed to use conventional weapons and armor besides their lightsabers, and the wearing of the Jedi robes, while popular, was no longer mandatory. For a long time, the Order was also much less centrally controlled, with each Jedi being given much greater personal freedom and responsibility. Although, yes, things are a bit stricter now with the Sith War so it's a bit like how things were in the old Republic but it's defintely not outlawed and Jedi aren't that passive.
