Laurie, who was one of the oldest present within the bunker, sat near where Scattershot and Beast were talking about what to do. She'd already seen the conversation's result, of course, but it was still interesting to listen to. She was still feeling frustration at not seeing last week's attack coming, but such feelings weren't voiced. Laurie never really shared her feelings all too often. It was, after all, a well known fact that she was quiet and reserved, but not exactly shy at the same time. Suddenly, she glimpsed that Steve would be waking soon, so she abruptly got up and went to the medical bay. She opened it and saw Steve standing right in the doorway, reaching for where the doorknob used to be. She had, of course, expected that. "So how are you feeling? Better?" Not that she didn't already know the answer, but she had to ask that question to make that future happen. Plus, it would probably help him feel a bit better to have someone show concern for him. Laurie was concerned for him, though, just as she was concerned for just about everyone there.
