Peter smiled as she opened the door, kissed her back when she leaned up to kiss him, and watched her move her hips in a very teasing manner... God he wished he was still in bed with her... How did he get so lucky? He made his way in to her large kitchen... It always amazed him how big houses can get... Peter and Aunt May got along just find in their small little cozy house. He then heard the door open again, and Harry's voice sounding very annoyed, yet excited... He ran a hand through his hair, wanting to sleep and not listen to Harry's rant. His side now hurt more and more, his head ached, as well as his lower section now... Lexi walked in, and Peter shook his head. "Nah... can't stand the stuff..." He said quietly with a smile, just before Harry burst in. "Did you talk to him?" Harry asked Peter, staring at him. "Spider-Man came to me yesterday, and started saying how he couldn't help me- He didn't want to help save my life!" Harry said, with a crazy smile on his face, his voice with a tone as if he couldn't believe it. "He sounded so much like you, Pete... Kept talking about how it could kill me... What does he know? Heroes are supposed to help someone, no matter what the cost!" Harry exclaimed, slamming his fist on the table. Peter stood there staring at the counter, his rage starting to boil. It was as if he thought Spider-Man wanted him to die! As if he didn't care that he was dying, and that it didn't crush him knowing that he was being accused of betraying someone he was trying so hard to protect! His didn't know where Lexi was in the room. He didn't know if she was angry, sitting there awkwardly, or pretending to pour coffee. "Even if the cost is making the people he's trying to save die a much more painful death?" Peter asked, still staring at the table, giving a small laugh, mostly out of anger. "What?" Harry asked quietly, as if he was surprised to hear anything besides "You're right Harry! Spider-Man is terrible!" "Harry, you don't understand. You really should pay more attention in class-" "If we talked about how to save an innocent person's life in class, i would!" "having your blood cells eat away at each other will be the worst pain you could imagine...You will start to lose your balance, vomit, have the feeling of your whole body falling asleep!" "You don't get it! Its the only chance I got! and Spider-Man--" "He's trying to help you! He wants to help find some sort of solution to guarantee your safety!" Harry shook his head. "You're so naive, Pete! Ever since we were kids! Always thinking that there's some sort of better solution, always getting your butt kicked because you weren't man enough to stand up for yourself!" Peter looked up, his face angry. "Weren't man enough? So laughing at Flash pushing kids in to lockers or stealing their food makes you a man? Looking the other way while a kid is getting his face shoved in a toilet? Treating Lexi like shit during your guys' first dance?! Having your father pay for everything because you don't know what its like to actually work for someth--" Harry charged at Peter, swinging a fist. Peter easily dodged and pushed him backwards, his anger making the push a bit too hard. He flew across the kitchen, hitting the shelf. Harry stumbled up, staring at Peter. At the moment Harry wasn't serious about what he said. He was angry, felt betrayed, but most of all, scared that he was dying, his best friend had more secrets than him, and Lexi didn't seem to be taking Harry's side either. "At least I'm not the freak no one likes." Harry said harshly. "You're the jackass everyone has to tolerate." Peter said quietly, staring right back at his best friend... His words hit him hard. He always knew he wasn't normal, or strong, or cool... but at least he had Harry and Lexi... If Harry thought that about Peter, what did Lexi think? Harry kept staring at Peter, then realized that something dark was covering Peter's shirt.... blood.. on his side... Harry's eyes widened, then narrowed in anger. He finally realized. He took off out of the house. Peter didn't bother chasing after him.
