Crash Crash noticed the surprise on her face as he told her his age, he was a little surprised at her age. Well that was unexpected...I thought she was at least the same age as me. Don’t tell her that... He felt his face color at her offer, he hadn’t told anyone that information for a while yet he felt a strange warmth at her words. “Hmm, only if you promise it can just be our secret. It’s not a big deal” Crash murmured his answer, trying not to become cagey on the subject; he was regretting mentioning it now. Crash smiled widely as she laughed at his jest, he took it as a good thing, though his eyebrows rose in surprise at her next comment. I think that’s a fantastic idea... He frowned at his own thoughts catching that particular one before it rolled off of his tongue. “Erm...” He murmured trying to think up a reasonable response to that. “Yes and of course not” He answered her, watching the obvious relief cross her expression and noticing how happy she was with his answer. Crash grinned at her though it shifted to a more thoughtful expression at her comment on the bar. “The perfect vacation image?” He chuckled at the idea. “Sure I could see you heading the brochure” He winked at her again. She’d walked into that one...That was a little too easy...should probably tone it down Crash wasn’t quite sure where it was coming from though. “Anyway, I meant did you want me to go get you a drink or are you going to push through all these people as well?" He asked her a moment after his previous statement. Crash had his hand resting on the back of his neck when Kathy gave him a look and raised an eyebrow at him. Oh right...not my fault He shrugged at her listening to what she said about the mirror. “Glad to be of service” He saluted Darwin after Kathy's first comment, a smirk crossing his face though it faded quickly to avoid being bashed for being a git. He frowned as the guy hugged the mirror to his face. OK, this is weird...is this guy a few skittles short of a pack? he thought of skittles because of Darwin's interesting wardrobe choice he blinked as Darwin left them. "That was...unexpected" he murmured unsure what else to say about that meeting. Crash had been so flustered he hadn’t realized Kathy’s reaction until he was finally brave enough to look at her, hearing her say her goodbyes to Mercy. Oh please don’t bump into her later... He inwardly groaned at the idea, he was more than likely overreacting but he couldn’t help it. He momentarily tensed as she commented on how close they seemed, feeling an alarm go off in his head he turned to look at her visibly relaxing when she seemed to have said it in a light hearted manner. Though he was wondering whether it was a trap...yet again honesty was always the way forward. “I suppose we are” He shrugged with a smile. “Mercy picked me up when I needed it, gave me a place to stay and got me into the Academy. You could safely say I owe her a lot, consider her family” He told her though he dropped his voice as if not wanting anyone else to hear him. What she said next threw him a spare...he looked at her with a questionable gaze for a moment longer than was probably comfortable. Seriously? She didn’t get what Mercy was on about did she...Naive? Or what other conclusion could she have come to Crash lifted his hand to the back of his neck for the fourth time in the space of the last 15 minutes, he wasn’t sure how to answer her question he really didn’t want to pull Kathy’s attention to what Mercy had said but how else was he supposed to answer? “I was glaring because she has a terrible tendency of trying to embarrass me in front of people” Crash put forward, hoping he had covered the question without hinting too much. “Anyway, how about that drink...” Crash grinned at her, before moving towards the bar unsure of what could be considered a ‘Tropical’ drink, as his eyes settled on the bartender, he felt his stomach drop...he really hoped Nikola didn't recognize him, he'd been kicked out of his class for breaking 3 expensive bits of kits within the space of a half hour, though in his defense that particular day had not been his best. Mercy Mercy glanced over at Garden hovering by the edge of the pool. “Just go for it” She grinned at Garden nodding towards the pool, she hadn’t decided whether she would actually go into the swimming pool yet, sunning herself did seem like a good idea if not a boring one. She glanced at her phone again pained look crossed her expression. Still nothing...this is really happening She threw the phone down onto the sun bed getting to her feet with a sigh, she decided to take the initiative moving swiftly over to the pool she sprung into a dive cutting into the water with minimal splash as she plummeted into the watery depths, she was able to quell the sudden panic that automatically rose in her chest at the sting of the warm water by opening her eyes a white film appearing across her eyes acting as safety lenses against the strong chlorine water. She was rather glad it seemed to have been warmed by the sun, she swirled beneath the water her hair fanning out behind her as she slowly swam along the bottom of the pool after a few moments she kicked her way back to the surface, breaching it with a small gasp as she sucked air into her lungs happily treading water seemingly content in the knowledge she was in the safety of a pool. She swam over to Garden splashing water at the other woman with a devious smile, before lifting a hand to wave at Darwin. "You're missing out" She called to him, of course he wasn't really missing out on anything but...the more people that joined in the better right? Little Feather Little Feather glanced at Dani grinning. "I would hazard a guess that the broomstick belongs to this place?" She offered in answer to Dani's question. Looking over at Seven with a grin as he finally managed to calm himself down, she heard his stomach growl hungrily. "Well I'm not feeling overly hungry so I'll just see whether they have any raw meat Lion can have, I'm sure he shouldn't be eating barbecued chicken...he'll start complaining about getting flabby" Little Feather mused, glancing at Dani. "I...don't really remember what I like, it's all a bit new having to eat to maintain myself" She shrugged at him.She looked up at the man behind the counter, it looked as if he had already laid out the food whilst they talking he looked at them expectantly. Lion was finally able to break away from the old lady and came barreling into the restaurant, falling on his face as he collided with a chair the bucket flew from his head. Ah ha! I can see now she won't be- Lion begun to grumble, however it turned into a high pitched yowl as the broom thwacked down on his head hitting him square between the ears. "There! That ought to teach you, bad dog" The elderly lady grumbled at him, hitting him again for good measure. Little Feather winced hiding her mouth behind her hand to conceal a smile as the abused lion came to stand next to them his tail hanging between his legs. Don't you ever let me do that again... He whined giving Little Feather his best 'puss in boots' look, which made her giggle. "Learn your lesson" She shook her head at him, watching his eyes flicker to rest on the food tail wagging wildly behind him. "Do you guys have plans today?" She asked them both as she pulled Lion's food from the counter the words 'Free today' as she moved outside the shack putting the raw meat on the ground she didn't even get a chance to see what it was before Lion was ripping into it.
