"Oh. I was just told-" He glanced back at the guards after Kuro insulted them. He didn't agree or respond to the insult, he merely continued with his healing. He wondered why the angels taught him something different from what Kuro said. Maybe they just didn't know, or maybe they didn't try to learn. As he listed off emotions and things he felt, Aoba couldn't help but shift a little towards the last one. He immediately looked away, not wanting to stare into Kuro's eyes for too long. Even so, Aoba continued to listen, curiously. He noticed the small jerks and clenches Kuro would have, making him silence. He would check that out as well. Aoba was noticing the little nicknames he was being given like Little Mouse, or the occasional cute. But he only assumed it was just him being playful or the demonic nature he was told about. It did get him a little more intrigued to know that Kuro would teach him about demons, though he tried not to show it too much. “I'll tell you, as long as you keep coming back to me love." Aoba blinked. "W-Well I do have to heal you..." He said, almost as if he was sealing the deal in anticipation to hear more stories. The angel really wanted to know, since he was never allowed to go out to the Earth realm. He made sure to pay close attention, looking down at Kuro's hands as he explained the nature of his wings. He couldn't help but trail his finger tips over where Kuro's wings would have been. "No feathers? Your wings sound like they'd rip." He immediately pulled his hands away, mumbling an apology. "Angel wings don't hide. We can will them to disappear. Just- Just like our halos." At the mention, he tapped lightly where his halo would've been and sure enough it appeared, giving off a soft glow, but soon disappeared after. Thankfully, his question changed the subject, even if it made Aoba's feathers ruffle in distaste. There was nothing he could say about it because he knew it wasn't his place. So his cheeks puffed lightly, only to blow the air out. Instead of bandages this time, he put patches on the more severe wounds. "They're going to keep tearing up my bandages... I'll just put the patches on since they're for short term use." He explained quietly. "Alright, last bit before I'm done for the day. I need you to sit up." Aoba ignored the grumbles and helped him up slowly and gently. "Your mouth? You have cuts there too, yes?" He asked, showing his attentiveness before actually helping Kuro. Getting so close to his mouth was probably dangerous. And if the guards were paying attention, they'd probably tell him not to do it. Slowly, even if Kuro lied and said no, Aoba hesitantly touched his cheek with a warm and soft glowing hand, healing the cuts. He did this with the other side too, and got the same healing results. "Better?"
