My cat died a year and a month ago. I still miss her. She was 9. Diagnosed with kidney failure and pancreatitis at 8. I treated her with an injected drip every other day for a year and pills and other meds for the first few months. Losing pets is really hard.

I'm sorry for your loss but she had a good long run it sounds like :) and 18 is very good in cat years.
