That does help a lot. Just to make sure I’ve got this correct—He is the commander of a group of mercenaries and she is an exile fleeing from Avdlan, (probably believed dead by the masses). And while she was hiding she (was found by him?) and he recognized her and bearing loyalty to the old line she joined the group? But I just realized a little bit of a flaw of logic. If Avdlan took power ~11 years ago, how old is the claimant and how old was she when she first fled the castle? 

I try to never assume anything so that doesn’t work too well in this case. And I [i]was[/i] offering to draw your characters for you (I may have accidently made it a negative). With a fair amount of description it wouldn’t be too hard to make an image that matches/resembles what you have in mind, especially if you use reference. So it was a proposition, not a statement.
