Devon felt his cell phone vibrate in his pocket as he quickly stumbled to see if it was Aoi, which it was. A great smile came over his face as he tried his best to hide it from his friends, who were looking at him with raised brows. He cleared his throat and turned to face them with a slight chuckle. They wasn't going to let him slide with this one. Some friends they are. They stood there, drinks in hand, brows still raised and their faces plastered with the ultimate question 'What the hell was that smile about?' Devon pretended not to see them as he trailed off towards the small hut beside the bar. He pulled out his cell phone and sent Aoi a text back: It's cool. Can't wait to see you here. :) Devon then turned his phone off and scanned the beach, seeing a lot of their classmates and people they went to high school with were there. He went and stood over beside a palm tree, kicking his foot up and letting it lay flat against the tree. Some of the girls from their school came over towards him and chatted for a little while. They also mentioned some sort of party at one of their house and also handed him a flyer. "I'll try to make, ladies." They said okay and smiled while waving Devon bye. His eyes peered towards the flyer to read it over as when he looked up, he saw that Aoi had made her way to the beach. He wondered why she didn't text him but just shrugged his shoulders as he walked towards. She was always in her sketchbook, doing some type of drawing as he crept up behind her and covered her eyes with his hands. He wiggled his thumb over to remove one of the headphones as he leaned down and whispered. "Guess who?" He tried his best to hold in a laugh and not to spoil that it was him.
