– Ara (A) Ara nodding in agreement when Carmen said she’d probably be confused to meet his doppelganger. “Probably. You probably won’t be able to recognize her but… She’ll probably come find you herself.” He added, chuckling to himself. “But that’s all for now about my doppelganger. I’ll keep a rest a surprise for you to enjoy when you two meet.” "I didn't think...so...but engaged or not, they do look great together, don't you think?" Looking over at the red-haired duo, a sly grin appeared on Ara’s face. He watched the flustered exchange between the two. “We are not engaged, big misunderstanding” The guy (Crash) said, clearly denying the claims. But with his (Crash’s) face the same shade as the hair on top of his head, Ara’s grin only grew wider. ‘Oh this is too easy.’ Answering Carmen he purposely spoke loud enough so they could all hear him, “I agree. In fact, maybe we’ll get to see a proposal on the island sometime soon.” Struggling very hard to keep from breaking out into laughter, Ara turned back to Carmen and told her, “Let’s go then. Don’t want to intrude on the happy couple.” The corners of his mouth twitching, he exaggerated the last two words as he got up from his seat. Unable to resist one last poke on his way, he lightly knocked on the guy (Crash’s) shoulder as he passed by. Then in a low voice only he (Crash) could hear he said, “Go for it. You’re in the right place for a honeymoon.” Not holding back anymore, Ara threw his head back as he laughed and walked away. He stopped when he was close to the edge of the resort and a good distance away from the bar, making sure Carmen was following after him. --- – Kathy If she was a cartoon character, her head would have exploded in a puff of white smoke and she could have fallen unconscious onto the floor in a comical way. Unfortunately, the human body normally preferred to stay very much awake and upright for survival, and did not intend to let Kathy escape this situation in such an easy manner. Hearing the other students (Ara and Carmen) talk, she let go of Crash’s shirt and turned her head back down towards the counter. Her arms crossed around her head once more, she squeezed her eyes shut and tried to calm back down. Taking deep breaths as Crash busied himself in trying to clear up the misunderstanding, Kathy got enough courage to peek out from under her arms again when she realized that Crash was speaking to her. “L-look I’m sorry I didn’t even think about it...well I did...m-maybe a little not a lot though” “!!!” The flush that had just begun to fade returned at full power and coloured her entire face in a bright shade of red once more. ‘S-Stop right there! Stop thinking Kathy! Stop thinking right now or-!’ It was too late. She had already thought about the other meaning to that sentence. “Not about that! I didn’t mean erm...I just-” At this point she decided to ditch the counter and curled up into a small ball on the floor. Hugging her knees to her chest, she remained on her feet and stared at the floor feeling like her eyes were spinning. This was, without a doubt, the most she had ever been embarrassed in all 17 years of her life. In fact, she usually didn’t get flustered this quickly or often. Crash just seemed to have a strange knack for poking at weaknesses she didn’t know she had, and was making her experience all these emotions she hadn’t quite developed a resistance to. Still unable to lift her head to look at anyone, she meekly listened to Crash’s apology. “N-No… You don’t need to apologize I just, um…” She had no idea what she was supposed to say anything. She took a deep breath and sighed out, “I’m so confused…” Her head lost to the swirling confusion of thoughts in her head and her eyes trained to the floor, she didn't even notice that someone passed by and stopped to say something to Crash.Taking a moment to let her cheeks calm down from a bright red to just a rosy look, she poked at Crash’s ankle (the easiest thing to reach in her position) and asked, “Can… Can we take our drinks and go somewhere else? I don’t think I can stay here much longer…”
